DescriptionMinutes of the monthly and annual general meetings of the Board of Direction and the Works, House and Farm Committees. Also included are abstract of accounts for 1898-1902. A note on the inside cover written by Dr C. C. Easterbrook states, 'The minutes in this volume are practically complete and occasionally in duplicate.'
Loose items found in this volume:
1) Letter from Dr J. Rutherford to Sydney Mitchell, Architect, regarding ventilation tubes in the new buildings, 'Please remember to keep out of the new buildings all ventilation tubes and boxes in the garrets. They are simply inventions of the Evil One, for setting Asylums on fire, at any rate communicating a fire', 7 February 1900.
